Food Allergies
Some children in school have life-threatening food allergies. Typically, children can be allergic to food containing eggs and/or nuts.
Children are often very responsible and manage their own allergies very well from a young age.
However, to minimise the risk of harm to children:
- Nuts, and food produced in factories where nuts may be present, are not allowed
- We must be able to see an ingredient list for food to be shared with the class eg cakes
